THINGS TO DO ON TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN

Tamborine Mountain is 40km from the Gold Coast and 60km south of Brisbane, but feels a world away. Perched high on a volcanic remnant plateau and surrounded by rainforest, the mountain overlooks the Gold Coast skyline to the east and the Scenic Rim to the west. It is one of South-East Queensland's most popular destinations. The mountain is six degrees cooler than the Gold Coast below. Visitors come to the mountain to experience the trails and waterfalls. Tamborine National Park is Queensland's first national park and the third oldest park in the world.

People also visit to experience the food, wine distilleries, botanic gardens, and weekend markets. Gallery Walk has over 70 boutique and speciality stores. Main Street is where you'll find the locals enjoying a coffee and catching up in one of the village's many cafes.
